03 · Play2Business AcademyIn development

A new craft for a new generation.

We plan to found a non-profit academy in San Marino where young people learn to create video games with artificial intelligence.

Our mission

Talent is everywhere. Opportunity isn’t.

AI tools now allow a small team, or a single talented person, to build games that once required an entire studio. The academy exists to put that possibility in the hands of young people.

It has a social purpose before a commercial one: giving young people a real profession, and a place where their creativity can become something they can show, share and build a career on.

What students will learn

From idea to published game.

01

Game design

Mechanics, game loops, levels and progression: how to make something fun to play.

02

Game development

Real engines and tools such as Godot, Unreal Engine and Three.js, for web, mobile and PC.

03

AI for production

Generative AI applied to code, 3D assets, animation and worlds, used with method and judgement.

04

Real briefs

Projects inspired by real needs of brands, schools and institutions, to build a portfolio that speaks for itself.

05

Working as a team

Planning, collaboration and delivery: the skills that turn talent into a profession.

The model

A virtuous circle between learning and work.

Young people

Learn a craft, build a portfolio and work on realistic projects.

The academy

A non-profit association that trains with professional methods and tools.

The industry

Play2Business and other companies can welcome the most motivated students through internships and junior roles.

A

A talent pipeline

Developers trained on modern, AI-assisted workflows, ready to join real projects.

B

Visible results

Every game created at the academy is a showcase for its students and its partners.

C

Social impact

New skills and job opportunities for young people in the territory.

Why San Marino

A non-profit association, rooted in the territory.

An educational association

The academy is planned as a social and cultural association under San Marino Law no. 75 of 16 June 2016, which includes education and training among the purposes of non-profit associations.

A team already present

Our team already works in San Marino through publishing and social projects, and knows the local community it wants to serve.

The academy is a project in development. Its structure, programme and timing will be defined together with the relevant San Marino bodies.
